Summary

Ten-year-old Michael was looking forward to moving into a new house. But now his baby sister is ill, his parents are frantic, and Doctor Death has come to call. Michael feels helpless. Good Points

• Very complicated, detailed and completely out of the world!
• Winner of the Hans Christian Anderson  Award.
• Michael Printz Award for Excellance in Young Adult Literature.

Bad Points

• Very emotional.

Overall

This was by far one of my favourite books. It may have been short, but David Almond gave every detail and included some things that were quite clever. It was different to many other books I have read over the years.   I recommend this book for teenagers or young adults.
